This morning, I heard on the news the coverage beginning for the 2012 elections. Can you believe it, the intrigue has already begun. this and that potential candidate is hedging bets and planning to announce or not.
It occurs to me this is a good time to recalibrate our thinking to not be swayed by all the sound bites and hype we'll be subjected to in the next several months. The linked article is a speech from Ronald Reagan in 1983, it's worth another read.
