I also wonder what satisfaction a writer of viruses gets. Today, we had this mass mailing worm that seems to only be interested in clogging up email servers. The originator doesn't get the satisfaction of seeing the results, at least not directly. So what's up with this kind of thinking?

I know there are a lot of kids who think of themselves as hot shot programmers, but until they produce something useful, they are all a waste of perfectly good oxygen!
