I couldn't agree more with this article. I am a Vietnam era vet and when I came home I quickly covered all the evidence I could that I had served. From my experience these kids don't join because of political motivation, rather from patriotic. Conversely, it seems to me that those who complain and protest are standing on the outside and looking in. If they were to get some skin in the game I might be more inclined to listen.
