Proponents of the 450 mm wafer generation said they are in discussions with equipment vendors to create a business model that will entice toolmakers to put their own skin in the high stakes 450 mm wafer game.

So when does it stop. Eventually wafers will become so cumbersome to handle that throughput will be best measured by number of die produced and not number of die per wafer. Can't wait to see the robotics on this.
